Apartment Matten is a 130m² apartment in a small residence near to the river running through the village. It is finished to the high standard typical of modern Zermatt properties, featuring contemporary design and traditional alpine materials.
The open plan living space is comfortably furnished at one end with sofas and an armchair arranged around a low coffee table, and there is a wall-mounted TV with a surround sound system. At the other end of the space there is a modern open kitchen with granite worktops and high-end appliances, and an oak dining table seating six.
Floor to ceiling windows along one side of the living space overlook the village and give uninterrupted views of the iconic Matterhorn. There is access from the lounge and kitchen/dining areas to an L-shaped balcony which faces south and west for maximum sunshine.
The apartment has three double bedrooms. One of the bedrooms has balcony access and all have TVs. A bathroom and shower room are shared between the bedrooms.
On the ground floor there is a small fitness and treatment room where an in-house therapist offers massage and basic beauty treatments. An outdoor hot tub can be reserved for private use.
The apartment building has elevator access to all floors. There is a shared laundry room with a washing machine, tumble dryer and drying area, and a ski room with boot, glove and helmet dryers.
