The chalet is located in the sought-after Domaine de Burgin in the Belvedere area of Méribel, just 50 metres from the Georges Maudit piste from where it is a short slide down to the main lift hub at la Chaudanne. Snow conditions permitting, it is possible to ski back to within a few metres of the chalet. Each of the chalet’s three levels has a sunny south-facing balcony from where to enjoy the mountain views.
The main living area is on the first floor, with a lounge and dining area, both opening onto the large balcony which wraps around three sides of the chalet, and an open-plan kitchen. The walls are painted in neutral tones, with beautiful stone sections juxtaposed against pale wooden ceilings and door surrounds. There are two stone fireplaces at opposite ends of the living space, one in the lounge area and the other in the dining area. The large oak dining table seats twelve guests for meals prepared in the large, well-appointed kitchen.
For entertainment, the lounge area has a large wall-mounted TV surrounded by plush sofas for guests to relax and watch their favourite movies and shows. Adjacent is a calm sitting area with direct balcony access and views across the Meribel valley.
The bedrooms are on the ground and top floors. There are four double rooms on the ground floor, all with private ensuite bath/shower rooms and two with balcony access.
The large master bedroom occupies half of the top floor, and is the perfect private space to relax and unwind, or have a soak in the tub in the ensuite bath/shower room. There are two more stylish double bedrooms on this floor, with private ensuite bathrooms and beds that can be converted to twins if desired. All the first floor bedrooms have balcony access.
The spa area on the ground floor is the perfect place to recharge your batteries after a day on the mountain. It has a sauna and bar area, with doors opening onto a terrace with an outdoor hot tub. The chalet also has a table tennis table, a ski room and a laundry. There is one indoor and one outdoor parking space.
