Completed in 2025, Penthouse Weissmatten features the latest in mountain architecture and design, with top quality materials, fittings and equipment throughput.
The apartment is on the top floor of Haus Alpa in the centre of the village. An elevator from street level opens into a spacious hallway leading to the living space and bedrooms. Exposed wooden ceilings, wood floors and white walls throughout the interiors create a cool contemporary aesthetic.
The open-plan living, dining and kitchen space is airy and spacious with a high vaulted ceiling, large windows on three sides and sliding doors opening to a large south-facing balcony with views over the Zermatt rooftops to the Matterhorn and the mountains which surround the resort.
The living space is divided into a lounge area and kitchen/dining area by a central island fireplace. The lounge has comfortable modular sofas arranged to face the fireplace, a large flat-screen TV and the balcony doors.
The dining area has a table seating up to eight people, with sliding doors opening to a balcony next to it. The ultra-modern kitchen has stone worktops and splashbacks, sleek grey cabinets and high-end appliances. The island separating the kitchen from the dining area has a four-stool breakfast bar for informal meals.
There are three bedrooms in the apartment. The master bedroom has a king-size double bed and a spacious en suite bathroom with a freestanding oval bathtub, twin sinks and a walk-in rain shower. The other two bedrooms have double/Austrian twin beds and en suite shower rooms.
The apartment has a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer.
