The penthouse is on the top floor of the five-storey Nidus apartment building and accommodates up to ten guests in five stylish bedrooms.
The elevator from the ground floor entrance foyer opens to a central hallway which leads to the spacious high-ceilinged living space. The interiors throughout the property feature a tasteful blend of contemporary design and traditional materials. Floors are pale polished oak with walls, shelving and ceilings in darker wood highlighted with subtle lighting.
Furnishings are upholstered in luxurious fabrics, with a large modular sofa covered in plump textured cushions in the lounge area at one end of the living space. An open fireplace warms the space and adds to the ambience, with a long sideboard with two back-to-back flat-screen TVs separating the lounge from the dining area. A long dining table lit by three spherical glass pendant lights comfortably seats ten people.
At the other end of the living space there is an ultra-modern kitchen with a large hob on an island counter facing the dining table. When the apartment is taken on a catered basis, meals are prepared by the chef in the building’s professional basement kitchen and served by the chalet host. If a larger group rents more than one apartment in the building, up to 20 people can dine together in the penthouse.
Two sets of French doors next to the dining table and kitchen open to a large balcony with fantastic views of the resort and the surrounding mountains.
Three of the bedrooms lead off the central hallway. The master suite has a dressing area and a large en suite bathroom with double rain shower, twin sinks and a private sauna. A second double bedroom and a double/twin bedroom share a shower room with twin sinks. A doorway from the living space leads to another double/twin bedroom and a twin bunk bedroom which also share a shower room.
Bedrooms feature plain white walls offsetting the wooden floors and ceilings, with pale curtains and occasional bright splashes of coloured upholstery and fabrics. Bathrooms are ultra-contemporary with pale surfaces and high-spec fittings. All the bedrooms except the bunk room have a TV and a safe.
There is a shared ski room on the ground floor of the building, and outdoor parking spaces are available on request.
