The property is on the second floor of the Casa d’Amore apartment building, next to the small village supermarket and children’ s play area in the centre of Winkelmatten. Constructed and finished to the usual high Swiss standard with oak floors and high-spec decor, fixtures and fittings, apartment d’Amore can comfortably accommodate up to eight guests.
The open plan living, dining and kitchen area has comfortable leather sofas and armchairs arranged around an open fireplace. The dining table seats eight adults and the modern kitchen, with stone worktops and splashbacks and high-end appliances, is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare home-cooked meals. There are spectacular views of the Matterhorn and surrounding mountainsides through floor to ceiling windows running along one side of the space.
The apartment has four bedrooms. The master double bedroom has views of the Matterhorn, an ensuite bath and shower room with his and her sinks, and a private corner balcony. The second double bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and a private balcony, and the third double room has an ensuite shower room. The fourth bedroom has twin beds, a private balcony with views of the Matterhorn, and a WC and washbasin next door.
Guests have access to the building’s shared wellness facility which has a sauna and rainfall showers.
