Chalet Yeti is close to Val d’Isère’s famous Face de Bellevarde, with ski out piste access just a couple of minutes from the Olympic chairlift. As a base for exploring some of the world’s best ski terrain, Chalet Yeti is definitely a skier’s dream property.
The chalet is designed and equipped to the highest contemporary standard, but still has a distinctly alpine ambience, with wood floors and stone walls throughout and classic alpine decorations.
The main entrance on the first floor opens directly into the luxurious living space. The focus of the living area is a gorgeous stone fireplace surrounded with rustic stone and wood. In front of the fireplace are inviting sofas with plump cushions, and a second sitting room with an L-shaped couch is a cosy place to snuggle up and read a book in comfort. High ceilings and large windows allow the space to be flooded with light and guests to enjoy the majestic mountain views.
Behind the living area, a few steps lead up to the dining table with seating for ten people, and the stylish semi-open kitchen which has wood cabinets, stone worktops and high-spec appliances including a gas range cooker.
A bar area completes the dining and entertainment facilities, and there is also a TV snug where guests can enjoy undisturbed viewing.
Moving up a level, there are three bedrooms on the second floor of the property. One double bedroom has an en suite shower room, and a second double and a twin bedroom share a bathroom and a separate WC. This floor also has a further living space with an open fireplace, and a shared shower room.
The top floor is taken up by the large master bedroom suite, decorated in luxurious fashion with beautiful warm woods and stone features. There is a fireplace, TV, dressing area, en suite bathroom with a spa bath, and no less than three balconies to take in the mountainscapes.
The chalet’s relaxation and entertainment spaces are on the ground floor. There is an indoor swimming pool to stretch out and do a few laps at the end of a day’s skiing, a hammam, a shower room, and a cinema room with a state of the art sound system. There is a fifth double bedroom on this floor, with an en suite bathroom, dressing room, and an office next door.
Also on the ground floor are a laundry room, a ski room, and a garage with space for two vehicles.
