The entry to the property opens into a spacious living area with plush sofas, a combination of classic checked fabrics and velvets, soft wood panelling and floors and a quirky chandelier. The dual focus of the room is fantastic mountain views and a cosy fireplace.
Behind the lounge seating is a stylish, state of the art open plan kitchen with a large island to sit eight guests for a cosy morning coffee. The kitchen is divided into two spaces which can be closed off from the busy food preparation area.
Meals are served at a dining table for twelve, surrounded by large windows opening out onto an expansive balcony. There is an exterior dining table on the balcony for al fresco spring time dining.
The opulent master suite, a serene and chic haven, is on the top floor of the chalet. Fantastic views from the master bedroom seamlessly merge into a comfortable sitting area, walk-in wardrobes and an Italian marble bathroom with his and her sinks, steam shower and a large bathtub.
A further four double ensuite bedrooms and a twin ensuite bedroom are spread over the top floor and the ground floor. All are calm, stylish and decorated in a neutral palette.
On the lower ground floor are the cinema room, and the sumptuous spa which has a swimming pool, relaxation area, treatment room, sauna, cold water plunge pool, hammam and gym which opens out onto a terrace. This is undoubtedly one of Verbier’s most fabulous private spas.
Chalet Vicuña was nominated in the ‘World’s Best Ski Chalet’ category at the 2024 World Ski Awards.
