The main entrance to the chalet is on the ground floor. The entrance hallway has a spacious ski room to one side, with boot dryers and ample storage space for skis, snowboards and outdoor clothing.
There are two double bedrooms on this level, one with an en suite bath and shower room, and the other with an en suite shower room. Both rooms can be configured with twin beds if required.
Also on the ground floor is a guest WC, a laundry room, and access to the garage.
One level up, there are four more bedrooms, including the large master suite which has two sets of French doors leading to the lower of the chalet’s two terraces, a dressing area, and an en suite bathroom with a freestanding oval bathtub, twin sinks and a walk-in rainfall shower. Two more double/twin bedrooms have en suite shower rooms and access to the terrace. Finally there is a quad bunk bedroom with an en suite shower room. There is a second guest WC on this level, and an outdoor hot tub on the terrace.
The second floor is entirely taken up by an expansive open-plan living, dining and kitchen space, which has high beamed ceilings and double height windows at one end.
The lounge area on one side of the space has a pair of plush sofas and a collection of armchairs arranged around a suspended fireplace, all facing the windows from where you can and facing massive floor to ceiling windows with incredible views of the mountains. Two sets of French doors open onto a large terrace extending across the front of the chalet, which has plenty of comfortable outdoor seating and an al fresco dining table.
On the other side of the living space, a dining table seating ten people stands in front of a modern open kitchen with black marble worktops and splashbacks, sleek wooden cabinets and cutting-edge appliances. The dining table is lit by a pair of modern chandeliers, and more French doors open onto the terrace.
There is a large mezzanine above the rear section of the living space, with enormous cushions arranged in a U-shape in front of a large flat-screen TV.
Chalet Abade’s spa facilities are on the lower ground floor, where there is a swimming pool, sauna, hammam, and a relaxation area which can also be used for yoga and massages. There is a spacious cinema room next to the spa area.
The chalet is equipped with the latest technology, with high-speed Internet, wireless network access throughout, a networked sound system and TVs in all the bedrooms except the bunk room.
There is garage parking for two vehicles and additional spaces outside.
