Chalet 1597 is located in Studenbach, a peaceful hamlet about 1.5 km from the centre of Lech. The property has a total surface area of 450 m² over three floors and sleeps up to 12 guests in five en suite bedrooms.
The exterior and interiors have been renovated to contemporary standards whilst showcasing the chalet’s original features and construction materials such as stone exterior and interior walls, stone-tiled and wooden floors, and wood panelled walls and ceilings.
The main entrance on the ground floor opens into a spacious hallway with an open fireplace and a long dining table seating 12 people. To the left, an arch leads to the living room which has a traditional Tyrolean ‘stube’ oven and plenty of comfortable sofas and armchairs. Off the living room is a cozy cinema room with a large wall-mounted TV.
Also leading off the central hallway is the large, well-equipped kitchen with all the necessary appliances and equipment to cater for up to 12 guests.
Four of the chalet’s bedrooms are on the first floor, which has a spacious landing with a card table and reading alcove. The master suite has a large private sitting room with a writing desk, a wall-mounted TV, and a private bathroom with a freestanding bathtub, twin sinks and separate shower. A second master suite has a TV, dressing room and a private shower room with twin sinks. There is a double bedroom with an en suite shower room, and a children’s bedroom with four single beds, a TV, and a private shower room.
The fifth bedroom is on the ground floor, accessed from the central hallway. This room is a double that can also be configured with twin beds if desired, and has a private office and a private bathroom. Also on this level is the wellness area with a sauna and relaxation suite.
On the lower ground floor there is a wine cellar and tasting room, a laundry room, and a garage with parking for one vehicle.
The chalet’s ski room is at ground level, with a separate exterior entrance door and an interior door leading to the central hallway. There is exterior parking for two more vehicles.
